The Rune 2h crossbow is a two handed weapon that requires a Ranged level of 50 to wield. It can be made by using a crossbow string on a c'bow (u)|rune c'bow (u), requiring a Fletching level of 69 and granting 50 experience. It shoots slower than the one-handed rune crossbow and requires two hands to wield. To compensate, however, it has a base damage bonus, and therefore deals much more damage per hit, which in turn makes it more efficient. This makes it a superior alternative if defence is of no concern. When wielded with runite bolts (or equivalent), its damage output is similar to a rune spear or rune 2h sword.
