The noxious longbow is a level 90 two-handed ranged weapon made by combining a spider leg with Araxxi's web at level 90 crafting. Players may obtain the pieces needed for the longbow by killing Araxxor. The noxious longbow can fire standard arrows up to and including araxyte arrows, which are a common drop from Araxxi. This weapon lasts for 10 hours of combat before degrading into an unusable state. Repairing it from a fully degraded state will cost 4,500,000 at Bob's Axes, or less at a player-owned house armour stand, depending on the player's Smithing level. This bow cannot be used for Barbarian training to light a fire, nor can it fire ogre arrows or brutal arrows.

It can be used with barrows, shadow or third-age dye to create a barrows, shadow or third age noxious longbows respectively. This process is irreversible and the longbow cannot be traded if it is dyed.

Repair cost

The base repair cost of the Noxious longbow is 4,500,000. It can be repaired by:

• Bob - the axe seller in Lumbridge
• Tindel Marchant - the weapon and armour repairman at Port Khazard
• Dunstan - the smith in Burthorpe
• Squire - in the workshop area of the Void Knights' Outpost

Alternatively, it can be repaired on an armour stand in a player-owned house. This provides a discount of 0.5% per Smithing level (including boosts and assists).

Special attack

The Noxious longbow has a special attack named Mirrorback, which requires full adrenaline and will summon a mirrorback spider to aid the player. While active, the spider will reduce damage from attacks against the player by 50%, and reflect that damage to the attacker, but it will also be damaged for an equal amount. For instance, if the player is hit by an attack that deals 100 damage, both the player and the spider take 50 damage, and the attacker receives 50 points of deflection damage. This will last for ten seconds or until the spider is killed. This special attack does not work against certain attacks, and also cannot deflect damage back to attackers that are immune to deflection damage.
